our programs

Eight ways we help kids create.

We work across eight artistic disciplines. Each one is a doorway into the same thing: a young person discovering they can make something that didn't exist before.

Music

From first chords to first stages — kids learn instruments, songwriting, and what it feels like to play for a room.

We support local music education through instrument access, instruction sessions with regional musicians, and stage time at our events.

Film

Storytelling with a camera. We help kids storyboard, shoot, and edit projects that show their world.

Workshops on storyboarding, shooting on phones and cameras, editing, and screenings of student work.

Dance

Movement classes, choreography workshops, and recital opportunities for kids of every starting point.

Movement classes and choreography labs, hosted in partnership with local teachers and community spaces.

Painting

Brushes, canvases, time, and a teacher who actually listens. Open studios for kids to find their style.

Materials, instruction, and quiet studio time — plus regular shows that put kids' work on the wall.

Poetry

Workshops that take kids' words seriously — page poetry, spoken word, and quiet practice in between.

Workshops in page poetry and spoken word, with open mics where kids can read alongside adult artists.

Fashion

Design, sewing, and styling for kids who think in textures and silhouettes. Bring an idea, leave with a piece.

Sewing instruction, design fundamentals, fabric, and a place to make something wearable.

Graphic Design

Layout, type, color, and the joy of seeing your work printed. Hands-on with both pencil and Pixelmator.

Type, layout, and color taught hands-on. Kids design flyers, zines, and merch for our own events.

Creative Writing

Short stories, scripts, comics, journals. We give kids prompts, deadlines, and an audience that listens.

Short stories, scripts, comics, journaling — with mentors who read every page and an audience to share with.
